Meet Derek Baltimore

Derek E. Baltimore has been servicing clients in the financial services field for more than 30 years. After a successful start-up in 1991 in Baltimore’s chosen educational path of computer science, his flourishing firm was sold to a publicly traded firm in Cincinnati, OH.  Derek then changed his career in 1994 with a small boutique firm catering to credit unions throughout the United States.  After a series of mergers and acquisitions in the late 1990s, Baltimore landed as an investment advisor in Denver, CO servicing the same clientele along with mid-size banks and thrifts. In 2005 Baltimore returned to his hometown in Memphis and began serving the senior marketplace with his extensive knowledge of financial products and services. Derek holds the series 7 & 63 securities licenses, along with all four lines of insurance licenses in the state of TN, AR, MS, TX, FL, ID, NV & CA. Derek held the title of President of NAIFA Memphis, TN, and Regional Vice President for NAIFA TN 2015-2019. He is currently the President of NAIFA ID in 2024. He currently is a resident of ID but also spends  time in Burlison, TN with his wife Amy, a CPA. They have fur baby named Hank who is a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Savannah Cat named Khari. They recently purchased a Newfoundland puppy named Humphrey who should top out at 150 lbs +.
